Georgia Primary Election Results Live Blog

Georgia is the only country with a primary today. Georgia, like several other states, requires a runoff if no candidate receives more than 50% of the votes. runoff in Georgia, scheduled for August 10. So it is important not only who will win the primaries today, but their winning percentage and who takes the second place is very important.

There are several races of interest, and the most important of which are the Republican primary for governor. Secretary of State Karen Handel is expected to reap the most votes in a crowded primary, but it is unlikely to avoid a runoff, so it will be important to see who comes in second. There are three other candidates in the race that, at least legitimate chance to make it flow: Former Nathan transaction, Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine and former state Sen. Eric Johnson.
