JetBlue Flight attendants Steve Slater Hero For The Working Man?: JetBlue flight attendant Stephen Slater was arrested in Queens on Monday after a sharp exit from Pittsburgh to escape to New York after a quarrel with a passenger. Steve Slater, 39, reportedly got into an argument on the pavement with a passenger, who did not want to listen to his instructions.As a flight attendant airline JetBlue, a woman stood up and pulled down her luggage while the plane was still moving after landing in New York. Slater reportedly said that he politely asked the woman to close the overhead bin and sit down until the plane came to a complete stop. In response, Slater said the woman called him derogatory names and "evil" hit him in the head. It is unclear whether Slater got baggage or the edge of the overhead cover box.
