Ted Stevens In Plane Crash Alaska: Former U.S. Senator Ted Stevens was aboard the plane that crashed in southern Alaska on Monday night, a former member of Congress, staff, Mr. Stevens said on Tuesday.

Five people, believed to have been killed in the crash, and the assistant, who spoke on condition of anonymity, out of respect for the family, said it was unclear whether anyone survived the crash.

Rescue crews from the Alaska Air National Guard and United States Coast Guard arrived on the scene more than 10 hours after the accident, preventing rain and fog in the mountains and lakes to the north of Bristol Bay.

I wrote about my non-traditional day with Michael Sera just before I left for vacation, and in this part, I talked about setting up the Universal together at two different halls for those of us, and do video interviews. It was an impressive effort on their part, no matter what happens with "Scott Pilgrim" when it opens this weekend (I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for $ 300 million on Monday ... that too optimistic?) No one can say, Universal did anything less than a bust your ass for this film.

The first group I got to speak during the press day was Anna Kendrick (sister of Scott Pilgrim in Stacy), Aubrey Plaza and Kieran Culkin (the scene of theft Wallace Wells), and it was a good workout during the day.
