Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete was crowned Miss Universe 2010, replacing the "Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez, who has given Venezuela the second consecutive win, taking the title at age 18 last year. The South American country has won six titles since the competition began in 1952.
Miss Jamaica Yenda Phillips was appointed as the first runner-up in the competition this year, placing Natalie Morales and Bret Michaels.
