A small boom in demand Bronco seen in 1973 will not last, and 1974-1977 Ford Bronco model would mean the end for the car-based Bronco.
For model 1974 (which began under the cloud of the first OPEC oil embargo), the production of 18,786. In subsequent years will see a further decline.

Then, too, was very little new. Automatic transmission quadrant is now lit. 6 and an additional 4.11 final drive can no longer be in California, where emission standards are stringent.
J-shifter was the only one installation, even with a manual gearbox. Only Salon colors available parchment.
1975 Ford Bronco was a revised exhaust system, the strengthening of the rear axle, as well as more ground clearance. The only engine offered was 302 cubic inch V-8 power of 125 horsepower.
Manual transmission was a special order item. 6, it was discontinued due to smog regulations. Anti-smog has become standard equipment on all fronts. (California-bound Broncos came with mandatory catalytic converters.)
