Kaye Cowher Died Todays Sad News: Kaye Cowher, (ESPN):Kay Cowher wife of former Steelers coach Bill Cowher in Pittsburgh, died Friday after a battle with cancer of the skin, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. She was 54.Born youth Kaye Bunn, North Carolina, met Bill Cowher in NC State in 1976, where he was a football player, and she and her twin sister Faye played basketball for women. They married in 1981.
Kaye Cowher played a key role in making her husband get out of coaching in 2007 and move all their time roles, so that families can be together as they completed their daughters to school and Career college basketball.
