K Love

K-LOVE is a contemporary Christian music radio services in the United States, works on Education Media Foundation. As of April 2009, K-Love programming is carried out on 430 FM stations and translators in 44 states. [1] K-LOVE claims Audience 125 000 people each week through the Internet and more than 1.46 million listeners weekly on the radio.
K-LOVE studios and offices are located in Rocklin, Calif., near Sacramento. [2] broadcasts the morning show from Indianapolis, Indiana, as of November 2009. Service uses a number of "primary

rom 4 pm-9 pm CET. Lara Scott also helps, as a DJ in the evening on Sunday.
K-LOVE plays artists such as MercyMe, Third Day, Brandon Heath, Steven Curtis Chapman, tobyMac, Chris Tomlin, Casting crowns, David Crow der Band, and journalists, among others. [Edit]

K-LOVE began as a single radio station, KCLB-FM (now KLVR) [3], in 1982 in Santa Rosa, Calif., as a result of the efforts of former San Francisco disc jockey, Bob Anthony (Fogal).
In 1988, coverage expanded after the transmitter was moved to another location after a fire destroyed 9,000 acres (36 km2) around the original location of the transmitter. Encouraged by public support, KCLB become K-LOVE Radio in 1988, and additional stations have been licensed and began its work. [2] [4]
In 1999, K-LOVE and Air 1 (a Christian music service aimed at younger listeners) were consolidated under the parent organization of Educational Media Foundation.
K-LOVE uses a network of satellite stations fed FM and broadcast translators to carry out the signal in most of the United States. Almost all of the K-LOVE Translators FM (FM-radio stations) across the country to carry RDS / EON RBR service. Analog FM radio stations in RDS / mode RBR will get radio information displayed on most K-LOVE stations. K-LOVE stations owned by EMF. Because the EMF-profit organization, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) granted a waiver to each station there are local studios in the community service. Only one FM station in Tucson, Arizona United States supports HD Radio, KLTU 88,1-HD1 K-LOVE and 88,1-HD2 Air1.
On 1 October 2007, Mike Nowak was appointed CEO and President of EMF, K-LOVE, and Air 1, replacing Dick Jenkins, founder of EMF Broadcast Network [5].
In June 2008, Mike Nowak, president of K-LOVE and Air 1, announced on air that their previous spring pledge drive less successful, and they were forced to stop all expansions, freeze hiring, reduce, and even sell a network radio station. [Edit]
On March 28, 2009 it was announced that John and Sherry Rivers will no longer be hosting the popular K-LOVE morning show because of family problems. Host Lisa Williams assumed the duties of hosting the program, and later joined by Eric Allen. It is not known if John and Sherry will return to K-LOVE. In a letter published on the site K-Love, John and Sherry said that their sudden departure due to addiction to pain John headache tablets, which were held in the previous two years [6].
