Santa Monica College Information

Santa Monica College Information:Currently, Santa Monica College Board of Trustees is considering votes for the demolition and reconstruction of many classrooms, and a huge arena, which is part of Santa Monica College. In accordance with the technical details of the destruction would violate the very nearby residents because the buildings to be demolished, not in a secluded area or population, they are in town, in an area where a residential area opposite the street. There is also a school near the target buildings.

Interest is very high about the impact of destruction on the people living nearby, and so the process of voting will decide how to continue this process further. According to some sources in the Santa Monica College, there is no apparent need for demolition of the arena anyway, because the reconstruction of the scene no more than go to the building. It is for this reason, many opposing views grew up in Santa Monica College Board of Trustees and ultimately the vote should happen.

There is also the problem of environmental health, because the demolition of large concrete structures causes a lot of air flows that cause health problems for people nearby. In addition there are mature trees in front of the arena, on the lawn, which can be destroyed with the destruction, and they must be preserved somehow.
