Little League World Series Game 1 Blog: Toms River National Against The Great Lakes


Toms River National lost in the Great Lakes, 16-6, this afternoon at Howard J. Lamade Stadium in his first game in Little League World Series.
The team is now one defeat from elimination.
Lower sixth, 16-6 Great Lakes
1 0 5Share Petranto strikes, the ball game.
Blum earns a walk. Petranto now.
Hertgen thrown out trying to bunt his way on. Great Lakes, is only one away.
Tiplady walks. Hertgen up.
Deceglie goes down looking at the curve. One. Another period of crosses on the ground from the RBI. Make a 16-6 Great Lakes region.
Bases loaded. Unfortunately, I would say that all hope is lost at this point.
