Some sports are almost too dangerous. Competition Drag Racing driver Mark Niver died at the NHRA event at crossing the finish line. He died in the North West of citizens on Sunday during a semifinal heat.

Niver was competing to be top class in Alcohol dragster NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series. After losing speed Niver deployed parachutes which broke away immediately causes a car slows down before hitting the grille at the end of the runway.

Authorities are investigating the accident at the presence of mechanical failure or if there are any errors in the installation safety car. Niver died in the Pacific stations in Seattle, almost instantly after hitting a safety barrier.



This is the second death in a month at an event NHRA. Recently, the New Jersey man named Neil Parker, 58, died because of the failure of his drunken fun during qualifying at the NHRA SuperNationals to feed New Jersey in June.
