Madina Lake Bassist Matthew Leone Hospitalized

Madina Lake bassist Matthew Leone is in hospital after an intervention in domestic disputes, according to the group.

Nathan Leone, vocalist and brother Matthew, said that the bass was left unconscious is trying to stop the man beats his wife on the street.

"A few days ago, Matthew went from my apartment block and a half down the street to meet a friend for a drink. Halfway There, he saw a man severely beat his wife. Being the most amazing, strong, heroic and incredible person I know ... even if the guy was twice his size, Matthew intervened. He managed to subdue this guy on the second and because his wife was beaten, called police ... as it did this guy jumped him from behind and beat him. This guy was doing things that I I can not even type.

Madina Lake was formed in Chicago in 2005 and has been championed by Kerrang! magazine. Sincere words of support have been pouring in through Twitter.

LostInCweameeee said: "I can not get what happened with Matthew Leone of my head. No one should pay the price for being a hero."

According to his brother, Leone was to have a third of his skull removed. "We do not know enough details about how even that will be developed. He has acted as a hero (as he will always be in any of these situations) and pays a terrible price."
