Personal Quotes
I've always dreamed about being on television. And I was. Then I dreamed about in movies. What could be better than the captain of a spaceship? I get to ride horses, shoot guns, have adventures ...
My favorite villains of them you do not see coming. What I enjoyed about playing Caleb, that he was very, very smart, very, very nice, and it is very, very distorted. I liked that he was not a typical villain. It is soft and sweet and righteous, and yet he's perverted and twisted in his head.
(Talking about the cancellation of Firefly): I broke the cardinal rule, do not fall in love with what you are doing, because the rug can be pulled out from under you, and when it happened, I was desperate.
(At the Firefly fans trying to save the show) is very Jehovah's Witnesses. I'm not sure if anyone is really going from door to door, but it's not far off.
(When asked about his relationship with Joss Whedon): I'll tell you this. No one has ever shown such confidence in me that Joss Whedon has shown how to bring it gave me a sci-fi show Firefly, and allow me to play the villain for the first time. Nobody could have let me play a villain before. Thus, I would like to say that I think he made for my career and certainly my confidence in general.
(About Serenity): There is nothing like the major motion picture to make you feel a little better about your TV show was canceled.
(When asked what he likes about playing a villain): The ability to be evil. You can not do evil, that you want to do in real life. You certainly can not, because it is against the law and society says that all that they have to say, evil. You want to be a bad day. You want to do evil is bad, that you can not get away with, but now I can be bad and super strong. This is a fantasy.
(When asked what makes Caleb unique and threats): His accent. Never trust the South. No, I'm kidding. They are wonderful. You want to believe in his niceness and his charm, but he was a bad kind of crazy person who is righteous. Fear the righteous.
(When asked what he would like to go back and make a number of television again after Firefly Serenity): I hope so. Daddy's got to pay the bills!
