Celtics Select Texas Of The Avery Bradley

Statistics Celtics is officially turned the page and moved on to the 2010-11 season. A week after losing Game 7 of the finals, "Celtics have chosen Avery Bradley with the 19th pick in NBA draft tonight.

Bradley, a freshman guard from Texas, was somewhat unexpected considering the needs of Celtics on the wing and the frontcourt. Number of players were available to fill these positions, but general manager Danny Ainge was elected to go with Bradley, who figures to back up Rondo Rajon at the point. 6-foot-3, 180-pounder is not a purely security point and need time to adjust to the post.

He should be able to intervene and to influence directly in the defense. Bradley averaged 11.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists in his lone season Longhorns. His addition, a sign that Nate Robinson, the unrestricted free agent, may not return. From 52 th to get, "Celtics chose Notre Dame big man Luke Harangody.

Harangody was one of the most productive players in college, averaging 21.8 points and 9,1 rebounds last season. The biggest questions on the game Harangody in the translation in the NBA is its lack of growth and athleticism.
