Cindy Blackman History

Cindy Blackman:Mexican rock guitarist Carlos Santana commonly referred to as his 1999 hit “Smooth”, and not only for his musical abilities, but also for the fact that he behaves. Last Friday, his girlfriend, and the drummer, Cindy Blackman, performed solo on the song “Corazon Espinado” during the concert, which was held in Tinley Park, Illinois. After she completed her solo, Santana decided that it was the perfect time to propose to his girlfriend.

  Press release was issued on Monday in response to a romantic moment. According to Entertainment Weekly, Blackman said yes to marriage proposal Santana’s. Associated Press reports that they sealed the cooperation with a kiss as the crowd cheered, to congratulate them.  Grammy Award Winner believes that they blessed to find each other, saying: “[Love] is a gift from the universe.”


He was married to Deborah Santana to October 2007, when they parted after 34 years of referring to irreconcilable differences.  Santana received 10 Grammy during his illustrious career, and his popularity continues to grow for many years. Blackman, a talented drummer, who also worked with Lenny Kravitz and Cassandra Wilson.
